 What is IGBT Dimming?
 INNOVATION IGBT (Insulated Gate Bi-Polar Transistor) dimmers are completely solid-state and operate silently without the use of chokes. They do not produce any mechanical buzz or hum, are smaller, lighter, and generate far less neutral haronics than SCR dimmers. Also, every dimmer is overload and short-circuit proof and operates at an 800 microsecond rise/fall time regardless of load size.
